Exhibition ‘Rik Beemsterboer. Toys and Shapes’

Rik Beemsterboer presents his new works in the framework of an urban grant. ‘Shapes’ is a series of pictures which depict day-to-day and luxury objects in order to provoke thoughts about appearance, value and reproducibility of these objects. The vehicle, a thick slab of wood, has been cut out along the contour of the object, so that the painting approximates the object.
